Our family farm, is situated just south of the Scottish Border in Northern Cumbria. This is an area known as the ‘Border Reiver Country’, where 400 years ago rustlers and outlaws terrorised the Anglo Scottish frontier.

Welcome to Hallsford Farm Produce

our farm, our meat, your peace of mind

We supply top quality Shorthorn Beef, Llanwenog Lamb and Rare Breed Pork from traditional breeds suited to their environment. We have our own butchery on the farm at Hallsford Farm Produce, enabling us to keep control of quality all the way down the chain.

Our production is not forced and as a result our products have real flavour. Our shorthorn beef is hung for a minimum of three weeks and our lamb for 5 days.

All our meat is skilfully cut and presented before being vacuum packed and labelled prior to dispatch. Our animals are fed largely on grass, with some GM free concentrate when they are young and in the winter, barley to finish.

The concept for Hallsford Farm has always been Sustainability, farming in the most natural way possible. Animals that are suited to our climate environment. We naturally put back nutrients naturally with clover and manure. Giving our animals the most luscious natural, fresh grass to graze on.

Our Family Farm

The Tomkins arrived at Hallsford in 1999, when Andrew & Helen moved the family North. Emma has only known the farm, but Catherine and Matthew grew up here.
