FAQs about our farm.
Hallsford is a family farm, with all members helping out. Matthew works on the farm with his own Whitebred Shorthorn Herd. Catherine is a vet. Emma helps out at farmers marketing and catering events.
All our meat is produced on the farm or locally sourced to our exact standards. Beef Shorthorn and Whitebred Shorthorn are produced by us on the farm.
Our meat is sent to a local abattoir and returned to our cold stores for further processing. The meat is then processed by our onsite butchers, Andrew is our Master Butcher who has worked out the best way to process all carcasses. And then vacuum pack and returned to the cold store.
Under 2’s are free and will need a ticket. Tickets are free of charge but attract a booking fee to cover the cost of processing the booking. If you book an under 2 ticket please bring with you proof of age.
